Jennifer Watson, Ph.D.
Licensed Clinical Psychologist
Dr. Watson is a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in the treatment of adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Her specialty area is health psychology, focusing on eating disorders, weight management, and managing chronic illnesses. She also treats issues related to anxiety and depression, and stress.
Dr. Watson earned her Bachelor’s degree from Wake Forest University, her Master’s degree from Villanova University and her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Memphis. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at the University of Mississippi Medical Center with a focus on health psychology and eating disorders. Dr. Watson completed her post-doctoral fellowship in Clinical and Health Psychology at the University of Florida. She also has served as a Research Assistant Professor at the University of Florida in the Department of Community Dentistry.
Dr. Watson is currently accepting new patients. She accepts, cash, credit cards and will file insurance claims for patients. She is a preferred provider for United Behavioral Health, Aetna, Humana/Corp Health, Medicare and Tricare insurance. As of December 1, 2011, Dr. Watson will also be accepting Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida/New Directions.

7) Post-partum depression/pregnancy related depression/Issues related to family planning (e.g. difficult getting pregnant, coping with miscarriage or infant loss)
